“Green Paradise, La California Europea” deals with one of the most controversial issues in the Valencian Community and in all of Spain. This documentary film exposes the huge and growing conflict between the political interests and economic forces relating to the construction industry on the one hand, and property owners and environmentalists on the other hand, whose homes and property, ways of life and countryside are are threatened. We meet politicians of different parties, constructors, farmers, ecologists, victims of  land grabs, foreign residents whose very houses and properties are threatened and action groups fighting for the rights of property owners the protectin of the environment and against runaway construction.  

El proximo viernes 4 de mayo, a les 20:30 horas en el Salón d’actos de la Seu Universitària de Benissa, tendra lugar la proyección del documental GREEN PARADISE. LA CALIFORNIA EUROPEA (Pablo Martos i Pau Soler, 2007) y un posterior debate que contará con la presencia de:

·        Jaume Ortolà – Candidat a l’alcaldia de Benissa  pel CIBE/BLOC

·        Josep Dimas Montiel – Candidat per Alacant del Compromís pel País Valencià

·        Enrique Climent – President d’Abusos Urbanisticos NO

·        Pau Soler – Director del documental

·        Joan Josep Cardona – Veí de Benissa i afectat de la Ronda Nord
